How to add Addon domains differing only in extension
I wanted to add some add-on domains: domain.com and domain.info and needed to be directed to different directories. this isn’t possible because they will both generate subdomains that are the same This is not the case if you use different Subdomain/FTP Usernames.
Follow these steps to add domains
- Log in to cpanel
- Go to add-on domains
- Change the auto generated subdomain as your wish
- Click “Add Domain”

This isn’t possible because they will both generate sub domains that are the same www.componentpro.com/word.net.
