I got this error message when i was trying to add sub domain  then i searched on internet i could't get the right answer. these kind of errors because of the  mistakes you have done when you trying add DNS records and Blogspot URL naming,  in my case i  created sub domain on my hosting and tried add DNS records when i delete the sub domain and add DNS records now my blogger working fine

Follow these steps

Step 01 - Delete the sub domain you have created on your hosting account
Step 02 - go to your blogger  dashboard and select setting basic
Step 03 - select 3rd party URL for your blog
Step 04 - add your sub domain and press save

Step 05 - Log in to your hosting account and select "Simple DNS Zone Editor"
Step 06 - Under "Add a CNAME Record" type name as your sub domain and type CNAME as ghs.google.com  then click on Add CNAME Record

You are Done...!
