 Warning: date(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to  
 use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used  
  any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the   
 timezone identifier. We selected the timezone 'UTC' for now, but please set date.timezone to   
 select your timezone. in /home1/sritv/public_html/uploads/index.php on line 15  

If you got an error like above then you have to change php.ini file

On Shared and Reseller hosting there are certain limitations on what user can be changed according to hosting plans

• Login to your hostgator cPanel. 
• then search and select  php.ini QuickConfig it is in the "Software/Services" section.(You cant change php.ini , if you are on a shared host contact your hosting service provider)
• Enable QuickConfig if not already enabled. 
• Change the "date.timezone" settings Click the Save  button
