Connect two computers directly using a wireless network
  • enable wireless both computers
  • Make sure both the computers are placed within 50 meters of distance

for windows 7

Step 01
start -> Control Panel -> Network Sharing Center




Step 02
Click on the ‘Change Advanced Sharing Settings’ in the left hand side panel

Step 03
Click ‘home and work’ and enable following options

1. Turn on Network Discovery

2. Turn on File & Printer Sharing

3. Turn on sharing so anyone with network access can read and write files in the Public folders

4. Turn off Password protected sharing

Save Changes

Click ‘Public’ and enable following options

1. Turn on Network Discovery

2. Turn on File & Printer Sharing

3. Turn on sharing so anyone with network access can read and write files in the Public folders

4. Turn off Password protected sharing

save changes

Step 04


Host computer configuration

start -> Control Panel -> Network Sharing Center

click on "set up new connection or network"

then select "Setup a wireless ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network"

Click on the "Next button"

 Enter the name of your network

 enter the security type (WPA2-Personal, WEP)
  
 Click on the "Next button"

 You’ve successfully created ad hoc network then click on "close button"








Step 05

Client Computer configuration

go to wireless network connection

select the given name to ad hoc network

enter security key then connect
